I have been training with Phreddie for a little over a year. I love training with Phreddie because of his style of training. He motivates me to work harder, but does not push me past my limits. He is always a joy to see and always so happy. I always look forward to going to training. I am a swimmer at Valley Christian High School. I have seen many improvements in my strength, endurance, speed, and lifestyle. Since I have gone to Phreddie's, I have eaten better, worked out more, and ran more often. I’m a senior in high school and I have been training with Phreddie for over two and a half years, and it has made the world of a difference in many different ways. I play volleyball and he has me do exercises specifically for my sport. For example, he has me do a lot of box jumps, agility, vertimax, shoulder exercises, and many more exercises that are relevant to volleyball. However, we always do a variety strength training that works almost every muscle in my body to make me physically balanced and well-rounded. I have not gotten seriously injured ever since I’ve started working with Phreddie. Occasionally I’ll hurt my knee or back while playing, but because my body is so conditioned, it takes less than a week to completely heal; and while it’s healing, Phreddie adjusts my workouts for the quickest recovery.
Phreddie is not just a physical trainer to any of his clients though, he’s a mental coach and a friend as well. I don’t like exercising but I enjoy workouts because he is a joy to be around and he keeps me accountable in my workouts without pushing my body farther than it can handle. He also helps me with nutrition (and keeping me accountable for it!) - what I should and shouldn’t be eating to reach my physical potential -, and my diet changes have changed me as an athlete dramatically. I can’t stress enough how much working with him that past couple years have affected me! I just committed to Minot State University and I am sure that that would not have been possible without my physical and mental training. Phreddie is the best trainer I have ever worked with (no wonder I’ve been with him for over 2 and a half years!) and it is an honor and a joy to be his client!

When I started training with Phreddie, I was overweight and diagnosed with a pre-diabetic condition and elevated blood pressure. Because I was a older (51), I thought it would take forever to lose the extra weight. Fortunately, I was wrong! Phreddie was able to help me get the most out of my workouts and the weight came off a lot faster than I thought it would. Then a wonderful thing happened. I actually began to like exercising. It became a lifestyle change for me and now I feel better than ever. My blood pressure is great and I've lost the weight I needed to. I also got involved with Phreddie's fitness challenges and I became hooked on eating and drinking well. What a great change in my life!

I am a freshman volleyball player at the University of Texas at San Antonio. I started working out with Phreddie this past summer and I could not have chosen a better trainer to prepare me for my first season at UTSA. In only a month I saw so much improvement in my speed and strength. Not only did I see great improvement in my athletic abilities, but working out with Phreddie was so much fun! I always looked forward to the workouts and I loved the environment he provided. I loved that every session was a different workout and it was so much fun to meet new people. I have complete confidence that Phreddie will get you in great shape and I'd recommend him to anyone. I will definitely be back at Minnifield Fitness when I get back to Arizona.

Working with Phreddie and Minnifield Fitness has really helped me bring my game to the next level! Not only have I been able to increase my strength and speed, but more importantly my explosive power, which is so vital in excelling at the college level and setting yourself apart from the competition. Within just the first few weeks of working with Phreddie, I have already been able to feel the results in other parts of my game. On top of that, I had FUN the entire time I was doing it! One of my favorite features of Phreddie's workouts is that no two sessions are ever the same. He always has something new to add to the workouts, which for me keeps things exciting and motivates me even more. And Phreddie's positive energy encouraged me to work even harder. Phreddie and Minnifield fitness provide a unique combination of intense, personalized training in a positive and supportive environment which I recommend to anyone looking to develop that "edge" and take their fitness to the next level.

In 2010, my daughter Carly's first year of club volleyball, it was recommended by her coach that she begin personal athletic training in order to improve her playing ability. Phreddie Minnifield came highly recommended by several All – state high school and Division I college volleyball players.

Phreddie completed a thorough health and athletic skill evaluation and put together an individualized training program for Carly. I was very impressed with this evaluation and, after talking to several older athletes who were being trained by Phreddie, I began training with Phreddie as well. My goal was to improve my general physical fitness as well as to help a lower back injury. My daughter and I do the workouts together specific to each of our needs and I have viewed the workouts as being a very special father - daughter time together.

After only two weeks of hard work we both saw improvements. Carly reacted more quickly to the ball and improved her hitting speed. My stamina improved as well. By the end of the volleyball season four months later Carly had won a position in the starting rotation and her coaches said she was the most improved player on the team. She went on to start for her high school freshman volleyball team and is now starting on her club volleyball team.

Throughout Phreddie has individualized her training not only by closely monitoring her progress in the training room but by personally observing during her games. My improvements have been remarkable as well. I am stronger, have more stamina, and have lowered my body fat and weight to the extent that I have needed to buy a new set of smaller sized clothes!

I would recommend Phreddie as a personal trainer to the highest degree.

I started working out with Phreddie the summer before my senior year at Corona Del Sol high school to get ready for football, hoping to earn a College scholarship after the season. After a summer of intense and innovating lifting, killer core work, and extreme cardio I was in the best shape of my life. I ended up having the best season I have ever had in football that year racking up over 50 tackles and a team leading 6 sacks playing defensive line.

When it came down to it I was just in better shape than everyone I went up against. I did achieve my goal and was offered a full ride at Western New Mexico University. Once I signed I knew it was time to get back to work, so I went back to work with Phreddie. And once again I had another summer of hard work that allowed me to not only play as a true freshman at the collegiate level but started at defensive end. My coaches told me a big reason why I was able to get so much playing time was my work ethic and that I came into training camp in such great shape.

It’s because of working with Phreddie that I was able to do all those things. But working with him wasn’t just about becoming bigger, faster, and stronger. Phreddie became a mentor to me. He poured into me and helped me mature into the person I am now. He helped me get through multiple hardships in my life. I know that no matter where I am or what’s going on in my life, Phreddie will always be there for me.

I started using RVL Feb 1st of this year. Prior of using RVL I was weighing at 263 lbs that was early Jan. That's the biggest I had ever been and I was miserable. Finally Phreddie convinced me to try RVL and I did. I was very reluctant to use this product because in my mind you seen one you seen them all. Believe it or not I dropped almost 25 lbs in the month of Feb. I'm currently at 212 lbs over 50lbs I have lost. I'm a true believer in this product. I can't express how much I believe in RVL. I haven't been this happy in years I feel like I'm 25 years old again and in my prime!. I owe a lot to Phreddie for getting me on this "Mona Vie RVL" and getting me healthy and getting my self esteem back!!!

I feel that exercise is the main item that keeps me younger and gives me more energy to do all the things I want to do. The benefits of exercise gives me the ability to thoroughly enjoy life in whatever activity presents itself such as hiking, swimming, boating, tennis, golf, horseback riding, volleyball, playing tag with the grandkids and more. Exercising on a regular basis does keep me just feeling better in general, both mentally and physically and I am a much easier person to live with.

I am confident that my exercising helps prevent many chronic diseases, such as diabetes, heart disease, lung disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, maybe some cancers, hopefully dementia, and it helps keep my weight under control. My annual physical check ups seem to verify the benefits.

Phreddie plays a huge part in my continuing to exercise. He has a good feel for what exercises are best for me and he gives the encouragement that is needed to complete them and actually helps me push myself. Plus he has a great sense of humor!

Hi, my name is Ralpho Volcin and I am a 27 years old football player. Now you know football can be rough on the body and after some hard hitting football games, I like to check in my vehicle (my body) into the shop (the gym) "Minnifield Fitness".

With an amazing certified personal trainer Mr. Phreddie Minnifield "the body engineer, I have been one of the Minor League Football top performers in Arizona and I thank God, because I actually met Phreddie at our neighborhood church and when God sends someone your way, it is usually for a good reason. I must say "Thank You God, Amen!"

I am a soccer goalkeeper for Grand Canyon University and it is imperative that I be in the best shape possible for the fall season and to pass fitness testing. Training with Phreddie greatly filled that role. By the end of the summer I was in the best shape of my life. My body was toned and I gained strength, quickness, and better reaction times in just two months! I am very confident that Phreddie will be able to progress your game or any health goal you may have. He is very encouraging and understanding of what your personal needs are. I enjoyed and looked forward to going to workouts! It is a very positive environment and many friends have been gained by joining.

One word comes to mind...Phenomenal!! After training with Phreddie for a summer I was able to pass my collegiate soccer fitness tests with ease! His knowledge, positive attitude and his ability to motivate are superior. He makes you want to work harder and push yourself to the extreme. I highly recommend training with Phreddie. I am a Junior volleyball player at Corona del Sol High School and a USAV club player. I have been working out with Phreddie for almost three years and have enjoyed every minute of it! Strength and agility do not come naturally to me, but with Phreddie’s help I have not only gotten stronger and quicker, he has helped me gain confidence as well. With Phreddie’s continued support and encouragement I’m even more excited for the competition and hard work my Senior year of volleyball will require. I want to state that after taking just a few karate fitness classes I was able to challenge myself in new ways. These classes pushed me in ways I would have never experienced and made me realized that I was stronger than I thought.

Phreddie's karate classes helped me to advance in many different skills and overall knowledge of everyday life experiences.

Phreddie Minnifield and Minnifield fitness has absolutely changed my life. I was an athlete throughout High school, lettering in football and track. I loved fitness and sports, however my senior year of high school I tore my ACL in 2 different spots. After a few attempts at recovery, I became discouraged and quit football and track. Over the years of favoring my knee and a stagnant lifestyle I gained weight quickly and my metabolism was at a slow crawl. After quitting smoking (2 ½ packs a day) for 18 years, I gained even more weight. I went from a lean 185lbs. football player to a 440lbs. severely overweight individual. When I started working out with Phreddie I was at the end of my rope. I knew I needed help but I was scared. I brought my list of excuses and I was not judged or made to feel like a failure. Phreddie started out slow, we worked on exercises that would strengthen my knee while losing weight. I have learned so much from him, he has not only taught me about nutrition, superior all natural supplements, but also the physical training, exercise, and motivation I needed. One thing that really stood out to me was the overall life change.

There are a million trainers out there that have a million different gimmicks or fads. What makes Phreddie so unique is that he worked us out spiritually by teaching us scriptural truths found in the Bible that had a direct correlation with my weight gain. Sometimes we have emotional strongholds in our lives and we have used food as an emotional crutch. I have been freed from the underlying cause of my unhealthy eating habits. While under Phreddies training I now have great flexibility in my knee, and I have lost 45lbs. in the last 6 months. I would recommend Phreddie to anyone, weather young, old, in shape, out of shape, injured or healthy. He is an outstanding trainer and will help you achieve whatever results you are looking for. Simply amazing!
